Males: 35 - 60 pounds Preferreed
Females: 30 - 50 pounds Preferred
Coat: Any Color
Nose: Any Color
Eyes: All colors, Except Blue
Ears: Cropped or Uncropped; Rose or Semi Prick
Tail: Short and tapering
Body: Solidly built and muscular
Head: Wedge-shaped with forehead wrinkles
Nature: Zest for life, couragouse, good with children
There is alot of BadRap that comes with owning an American Pit Bull Terrier, but it is so worth it. These dogs are either very energetic or very lazy and laid back. This breed is very loving and sweet, they will welcome you with kisses when you come home.
The BadRap that this breed and all other breeds that resemble is all on the owners. The "Bad" dogs are like that because they were brought up to be mean. If you love this breed unconditionally and give it enough exercise this breed will be wonderful and loving. Every dog is "protective" of their loved ones and their territory, dont blame it on the breed.

I am Gizmo. I was born on December 29th 2001. I am an Amercian Pit Bull Terrier. I am Pure Bred but my mom has no papers because my breeder saved her. My dad, Chiko has papers and he is a big boy also. I am very loved and get spoiled beyond anyones imagination! I love to give kisses, but the only thing that makes my new mommy mad is when I jump up to kiss people. I dont think she cares all that much as long as I'm a sweet loving APBT! Enjoy my pics!

Gizmo 1 and 2 Months Old......
These pictures were taken in the time frame of Gizmo being one to two months old.
We are getting ready to move to papa's condo.
Gizmo 3 Months Old......
These pictures were taken March 3 and 4th of 2002.
We were at papa's condo until we found a new, bigger, better home!
Gizmo was 13 lbs on the 4th. Gizmo was 17.5 on the 25th.
Gizmo 4 Months Old......
These pictures were taken April 1st, 2nd and 5th.
We are still at papa's condo in the Islands. I loved it there, look at that grass!
Gizmo weighed 22.2 lbs on the 15th.
Gizmo 5 Months Old......
These pictures were taken May 6th and 27th.
We are now at the new house, bad looking grass...but it gets alot better!
I love the new yard, and not to mention the green carpet inside too!!
Gizmo weighed 27 lbs on the 6th.
Gizmo 6 Months Old......
These pictures were taken June 6th, 19th, 20th and 21st.
See the grass is getting better and I am getting bigger!!
Gizmo weighed 36.7 lbs on the 12th.

Gizmo weighed 42.2 lbs on the 24th, she also got fixed that day!

when we had the stitches removed she weighed 40lbs.....
Gizmo 8 Months Old......

She loves her bones and that window!

We took gizmo to the vet on the 10th and she weighed 44lbs.
